Tori Gwin has always had a passion for home design. After teaching in New York City and Chicago for seven years, she decided to take the plunge into real estate . She feels privileged to combine this passion and her love of working with people to serve her community. She has fallen in love with this robust and dynamic city and cannot imagine living anywhere else. Tori resides in Logan Square with her husband and their German Shepard, Mason. They bought their house because they knew they could make it their own with small fixes, like new light fixtures and remodeling the bathrooms. "It's still a work-in-progress," Tori says, but the most important place is her dining room. "The sun room was a bedroom before we added the dining table, and all the blue-and-white dishes reminded me of my parents home in Massachusetts, which has the same color scheme." For home décor, Tori recommends mixing antiques with contemporary pieces, and to always have fresh flowers on hand to brighten any space.
"We love playing dice games with friends after dinner, so we always keep a bowl handy on the bar."
"We have a wall of old family photos, and one of my favorites is of my grandpa from when he lived in Chicago. Growing up in Boston, the photo always felt like my own little connection to the Windy City."
