Lauren Mitrick Wood was returning from a family vacation in Greece, and couldn't stop thinking about the abundance of olive trees dotting the hills and countryside.

         

Olive Well began as a concept scribbled on the back of an airplane napkin, passed between rows to Lauren's cousin Chloe like school children sharing a secret. Lauren found herself covering the “O” over and over, focusing on the word live. If an olive tree gave life, and wells offered nourishment and refreshment, then an olive well could be a place where all lived well.
